Southeast Bloodhound Rescue, Inc., is an independent, non-profit public charity 501(c)(3) corporation, recognized by the American Bloodhound Club, which helps re-home bloodhounds in need throughout the southeastern United States. We also assist in regions currently without an organized bloodhound rescue. Southeast Bloodhound Rescue, Inc., was officially established June 2, 2000.
Our organization’s first and foremost function is to help homeless bloodhounds and to aide owners who, due to circumstances, cannot keep their bloodhound any longer. Our first priority is always to bloodhounds in shelters and pounds with kill dates on their kennel cards.
We cover the southeastern states as well as a few midwestern states in the USA including: Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana (southern half).
Our staff are strictly voluntary, and none receive any type of monetary compensation. The work is done for the sole pleasure of seeing these great hounds find a loving home and family.
